About AMF

Women’s Empowerment in Particular has been one of our Main Focus Points at Arise Monalisa Foundation.
The statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics paint a dismal picture of the employment situation in Nigeria.

More than half, about 54 per cent of youth population were unemployed in 2012 according to the released 2012 National Baseline Youth Survey Report.
“Out of this, this, females stood at 51.9 per cent compared to their male counterpart with 48.1 per cent were unemployed,’’ the report said.

We believe if you empower a woman, you empower a generation. To this end, we are developing several programmes across 2015 to empower women in both rural and urban centres across Nigeria.OUR VISION
